We are excited to announce that the Global Student Forum has officially adopted a new Code of Conduct, reinforcing our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone involved in our work. Whether you’re a participant, volunteer, or member, this updated Code is at the core of our safeguarding efforts.
The new Code of Conduct lays out clear expectations for behavior across all GSF activities, both online and in-person, helping to foster an environment rooted in trust, collaboration, and accountability. It is designed to ensure that everyone in the GSF community can engage in a harassment-free and inclusive space, where respect for all is upheld.
To support the implementation of the Code, our Trusted Person Team (TPT), consisting of two permanent members along with temporary members appointed for specific events, will be responsible for overseeing safeguarding practices. They will serve as the primary contacts for any concerns or reports related to misconduct.
In addition to the Code, we’ve developed key resources to support safeguarding efforts, including guidelines for both in-person and digital events. These tools help ensure that our commitment to safety and inclusion is not just a policy but a practical framework that can be applied in all our work.
We invite everyone in the GSF community to familiarize themselves with the new Code of Conduct on our updated Safeguideing page:
At GSF, we believe that a positive, respectful, and diverse community is the foundation for effective action. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive global student movement.
