Tokyo, Japan - Held from November 22 to 24, 2024, the conference brought together global higher education leaders, academics, and stakeholders to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities for universities in today’s rapidly evolving world.

Ann took part in a session titled "Universities and the Interplay between Human Intelligence and Generative AI" The session explored the relationship between traditional human-driven knowledge systems and the growing influence of Generative AI technologies in higher education.

As a student leader, Ann highlighted the critical perspectives of students navigating this transformative era. Her intervention emphasized the importance of harnessing AI as a tool to complement human intelligence while ensuring ethical implementation, inclusivity, and academic integrity within universities. Ann further underscored the role of higher education institutions in preparing students to engage with AI critically and constructively.
