The Global Student Forum is thrilled to be part of the newly launched Erasmus+ funded project NELS – Next Level Skills for Student Leaders. This initiative officially kicked off with an energising and productive meeting in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together 12 partner institutions from across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
NELS is a three-year project designed to develop a comprehensive and interactive virtual training programme to empower student leaders. Through a blend of formal and non-formal learning, the project will equip students with essential skills to advocate more effectively for their peers and help improve the educational experience across regions.
At the heart of NELS is a strong commitment to intercultural exchange and global collaboration between student leaders in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Together, we aim to co-create a programme that reflects the diverse realities of student organising while strengthening leadership, advocacy, and institutional engagement.
